My older one has a SEVERE nut allergy. So it only seemed fair to my husband to request for a child friendly cake when I asked what he wanted for his birthday. No NUTS! He wanted something that he could have with a cup of tea, not too much frosting, and if no frosting, even better!
I had to negotiate to have frosting – how can it be a child friendly cake otherwise? Right? So, here it is, Sour Cream Frosting, for a Sour Cream Cake!
1/2 C Icing sugar
1 TBSP Sour Cream
Mix icing sugar and sour cream together until combined. Add more icing sugar for a thick consistency, or a drop of milk for a thinner consistency
