Greek Yogurt Frosting

My boss’ birthday is coming up!  With all the birthday cakess I’ve been taking for all my colleagues all year round I’ve been dreading the preparation and the outcome. As far as expectation is concerned, he’s very clear he’s expecting a cake from me – no formality issues here, clearly 🙂 I’m planning a healthy cake, we’ve all come back from break, everyone could with a little bit of feel good factor even if it’s superficial 😛
So to begin with, here’s some healthy frosting for a cake yet to come… it taste as good as any regular frosting, it still has all the fatty goodies in it, but the fact that  it’s a yogurt frosting just makes you feel like it’s in the healthy zone… Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 Cup Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
3 1/4 Cup Icing Sugar
1/3 Cup Greek Yogurt

Directions:
  1. Mix the butter, cinnamon and the icing sugar together with a hand-held electric mixer or with a paddle spoon
  2. Add the Greek Yogurt and combine with a spoon or an electric mixer. Keep beating till the mixture is fluffy and the texture you prefer. I prefer thick for cakes and decoration, you can always thin it with a few drops of milk
